Mr Shifts Social Coventry

Building upon the success of the previous event, the Mr Shift Social returns to provide music lovers with another incredible opportunity to connect, collaborate, and immerse themselves in a vibrant community of like-minded individuals.
This FREE event promises an exciting lineup of live music, collaborative sessions, and open discussions.
Open mic
Throughout the day we’ll have an open mic set up in the beer garden (weather permitting, indoors if not) for anyone who wants to perform, or just hang out and enjoy the music.
If you do want to perform let me know and we’ll sort you a time slot!
Sample flip competition
The flip competition returns!
I’ll also have a special announcement during the day about the future the production side the Mr Shift events, so make sure you don’t miss out!
- Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, we invite you to come ready to flip some samples, mix some beats, and let your creativity flow.
- Participants will have one/two hours (decided on the day based on numbers) to take a sample selected by Mr Shift and flip it into a 130-second song.
- The songs can either be played via AUX or performed live at the event.
- After one hour, all participants will share their songs
- The other participants will then vote on their favourite, with the top three receiving the most votes.
- There will be a separate vote for the overall winner.
- The winners will be announced at the end of the event.
Everyone should be able to participate and express themselves, so you are still welcome to join us even if you don’t want to enter the competition.
Network
Are you an muisican, artist, producer looking to network this is an excellent opportunity to meet other like minded people and other creatives to showcase your work.
